Multiple melanoma?
Question:
My dad had a growth removed from his back last year. The diagnosis was melanoma. Everything was fine until his GP did a blood test and found he has a high protein count. He saw the oncologist today and is scheduled for bone xrays and bone marrow sampling this Thursday. The doctor asked him if he was feeling any pain (he’s not) and poked and felt around. He then popped up with scheduling the xray/sampling and mentioned about multiple melanoma. My Dad got all concerned as my mother had multiple myloma. The doctor said they aren’t the same though similar. He said multiple melanoma is not curable but treatable and then left. That’s the same for multiple myloma (not sure if I’m spelling that correctly). Anyway melanoma I thought is skin cancer. Dad doesn’t have any new spots, so does it go internal if they didn’t get it all with the previous surgery? Can anyone direct me to a web site that would provide more information on multiple melanoma? If so, please e-mail the URL. Thanks for your help. Larry Dawson

In May I lost 1/3 of my upper left lung to cancer. I also had a mass on my left adrinal gland. Blood work was a mess. In June I my prayers were answered. Within two weeks of a nutritional based program I went back to the Doctor. The Adrinal mass stopped growing. It’s in remission. Most of the lab values are dropping down close to normal. Best of all my energy is back to precancer levels. I would Love to share this with fellow cancer sufferers. Call 817-387-3908 and ask for Judy. I’m not a doctor and can’t give medical advice but I’d love to share my experience.
