Question:

I think we need to consider alternatives without side effects  like cataracts, skin cancer, thinned skin or liver damage. Yes, I have come to view the medical establishment’s preferred treatments as the-more-destructive-the-better.  Why should we support a medical establishment that can only "treat  symptoms " – instead of finding a cure. I’d settle for symptom treatment, if they did it better! Still, with luck, within twenty years or a couple of billion dollars, whichever comes first, hopefully molecular biology will figure this out and come up with real treatments and cures.  Maybe it will tell us that all we needed, all the time, was an obscure dietary regimen.  I can’t wait! J.

This group is great for all the info that is shared. We owe a big debt to Ed anderson for helping us post our ideas . I am finding much success with alternative therapies that have been pooh -poohed by others who post here. All of us have P ; it’s bad enough most people are ignorant of this incurable ( so far ) let us not get down to the same level as the ignoramii. My regimen has faded all plaques to a pale pink. There is minimal scaling and the halo effect is very pronounced and improving by the day. I take 6 capsules of shark cartilege daily,2 caps of grape seed extract, I finally found some of that Oregon Grape Root- which I think is also helping. I bathe nightly and soak in safflower oil , treat the plaques externally with flax seed oil and drink Kombucha tea. I think we need to consider alternatives without side effects like cataracts, skin cancer, thinned skin or liver damage. P can psychologically damage us, why should we let it physically shorten our lives as well ? Why should we support a medical establishment that can only "treat symptoms " – instead of finding a cure. It is very empowering to know you can take care of yourself. Be Well, Judie
