Well Phagot (Willard), I live in a world called "society". I also live in a community where we have to keep our yards mowed. Because then you can see the wonderful woods beyond that (where the birds live, where the squirrels frolic, and where we see deer constantly). So regardless of your thoughts (which mean absolutely nothing to anyone in here), you can still worry about the slugs… being that you are one. Bugsbunny (`rather have this nick, than Phagot…. which supports insect life which supports bird life and permits proper
fruit development which requires bees & suchlike, & in the ultimate
balance of things supports human life. They also encourage cute & harmless
little field mice & gives the cats something to do. Mowed lawns support sunbathing in the
yard which gives you skin cancer; mowed lawns support croquet which is a
dorky sport anyway; and mowed lawns encourage people to use all kinds of
bug, slug & moss controlling chemicals that kill mammals & birds
either by depriving them of bugs & slugs to eat or poisoning them outright. So stop mowing the damned lawn & get
