Implant / Wish Me Luck

Categories: Prostate Cancer

Question:

Dear Fellow Limp-skis:     As a reader but rare poster for the last two years, I am pleased (?) to report that in two days time I will be the proud (?) owner of the finest penile implant available.    A few months ago I posted and asked for advise from anyone who had gone through this process.    Only one person replied and he was a great help in making this decision as he had had the exact same device implanted.   All the other "fixes" that are discussed in this group were no help because the nerve damage was too extensive.   This is the result of a battle with bladder cancer.    The bladder and prostate were removed and a Urostomy installed.     When I return home and am able to report about my hopeful success, I shall do so.    As I said, this "fix" seems to be rarely discussed. Till then,

Response:

Richie, Good luck. I have been thinking of you. After all the trouble you been through I think you will be happy with your implant. Keep in touch and I will be glad if I can be of anymore assistance. Write me when you can. Have a speedy recovery.

Response:
