* * * * * * * * * * * * I had doubled up on my Prozac and was doing better. But today I had a piece of toast, cottage cheese and tea at 7AM, and then didn’t eat again until 7:30pm. (Was napping and working this afternoon.) Went to the store and bought some shrimp and surimi (fake crab) and a bowl of chicken noodle soup. Ate the soup, made a green salad with shrimp and surimi (not excessive in size), had some baguette with olive oil and garlic. Then had one chocolate macaroon for dessert with a glass of milk. 10 minutes after I was done, I brought it right back up again…it just felt bad sitting in my stomach. I swear, sometimes I think there is a true PHYSICAL component to these times when I’m doing the bulimic behavior…that it’s not all psychological/chemical/depression based. I mean geez…..my intake today wasn’t exactly a binge……Of course today I started reading a book about ovarian cancer by the former editor of Vogue, and she describes how the symptoms are often overlooked: heartburn, even small amounts of food causing nausea, weight gain around the middle. (But I’ll bet that a Vogue editor has an entirely different concept of what a "small amount of food" is!  ;-)  ) Notes to myself: I really need to eat little amounts at regular intervals. I also need to get back to my exercise routine (about 40 minutes a day in the aerobic zone). As soon as I cut back on that a few weeks ago, everything started to change…..Thanks for listening……  Surly — For more information about this service, send e-mail to:
