Is 32 too late to start life?
Question:
- Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Organization: Mystical Image Newsgroups: alt.support.depression Is it? When I was forty, I lost my wife of 15 years to ovarian cancer. When I was forty-five I married a woman of 22. We have been together for 10 wonderful years now and have two beautiful children. I could have lost myself in grief. I could have stopped living. At forty-five I started over. 32 years is not too late to start anything (except maybe kindergarten). Good luck to you, Znaug
This was sobering for me as I’ve begun anew at 38years old. Just married to a beautiful woman 15 yrs younger. It’s been difficult at best to even approach a transition to "grown upness" but living a life with my head buried in the sand had to end. To late to start compared to what? Not starting? Maybe never achieving what others of your age have achieved? Don’t go there, that thinking WILL keep you from starting….c
