Is stress the most important factor in getting cancer ?

Categories: Metastatic Cancer

Question:

Hey Guy: I was 23 when I was introduced to malignant and metastatic dual combination thyroid cancer (yes, it’s two cancers in one).  I am 44 now. And from my experience and studies in the field (MA in applied psychophysiology) stess, emotional baggage, fear, unresolved grief – really dysfunctional family psychology issues are strongly associated with cancer manifestation and the progression of the disease – or lack of progression. The best and strongest determinent if a cancer patient will die – is financial. Poor folks do worse, or money troubles kill. The insurance companies know it, and with the government cut you off quick.  It the raising cancer rate – right now 4 in 10 Americans get it – in 7 more years it is projected that 5 out of 10 will get it. Why you. Becasue you are sensitive and intelligent, and refuse to perpatrate on other people so you turn that anger (that is fear based) inside and it eats you up, burn you out.  Cancer is a physical, spiritual and emotional fire in the psychophysiology.  Doing things to add to the fire, staying in the intellect, no compassion, consuming fire foods (alcohol, cigarettes, sugars, fats, etc) just burns you up faster. Fire Spirit, the 4th Horsespirit of the Armageddon locks in April 23rd, it comes for the White Race.  This is pushing the dysfunctional dyanmaic in the planet, among families, nations, and individuals toward their integration.  They dont want to heal and integrate – they will die out. God’s flaming sword is this phonomena – its how people crash – see death, change their ways after they have had enough casualties, regrets and saddnes in their life by their own hand. If you want to stay on the planet – this is how you do it. If you dont want to integrate – then get your affairs in order. I have an awesome life guy.  I have let go of alot of things that were dear to me, as my life is going in another direction.  To fight that direction is to die, so I go with it as I chose to live.  And in this living I have near death experiences – lots of them.  Its a trip.  I really like the other side now. It is very difficult to be here with angry unloving people who think they are right just because they believe and refuse to know. Damm good questions guy. Hope you have the courage to stay – you can make some great contributions to this planet and the people.  You have a good mind and heart. SumBuddie – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Hello, I (23/m) have cancer a year now and of course at the beginning I have asked me three questions. Why just me ? Why now ? Whom do I want to invite to my funeral ? Then time passed by and I talked to people who are in the same situation as me. Everyone has had a lot of stress in the months before the diagnoses. They have moved into another town or within it, they lost their job, they had a lot of problems with their partners, family members or with theirselfes, or they have quitted smoking ( see discussion in sci.med.diseases.cancer ). I said to me  hey, interesting  and took a look over the market of alternative therapy. I noticed that the goal of many of this therapies is to reduce stress, even if they explain that they work with mysterious energy and if I do that and that the energy blockades will dissolve (oh, stress will be released !). Some try to release stress in the body others in the mind. Could stress have been the release in getting cancer ? Could this be the answer to the question: Why now? (sorry for my bad english) konfuz

Konfuz, I can’t answer this but I can tell you that six months before my Dad was diagnosed he cut off three fingers and had them sewn back on. He was terribly upset and ended up on prozac.  When he found out about his cancer, he was more upset because his hand wasn’t working as it should than dying.  I haven’t heard it said that stress causes cancer, but I have heard people link it to surgery and traumatic incidents like this one.  OH and by the way…yeah that was a very bad year for all in the family.
