WHY schizophrenia?
Question:
If there was some supremely intelligent force in the Universe that wanted to take up life here on this planet and possibly even effect it in some way, I don’t think they would land in a spaceship, that would be too obvious, I think they would find out how to control our life systems and infiltrate our existence by way of becoming beings on this planet. If we take this quote from Judy’s page:- "If the human race survives, future men will, I suspect, look back on our enlightened epoch as a veritable Age of Darkness… They will see that what was considered ’schizophrenic’ was one of the forms in which, often through quite ordinary people, the light began to break into our all-too-closed minds." – R.D.Laing Then is it not possible that 100 million of us on this planet are not in fact "human" as such??? Our minds are being heavily sedated and controlled through drugs ….. but what if we were given a free reign? Possibilities are endless. We DO have some kind of power as Tim says. I have not only noticed the weather bit but also how powerfully my mind effects others (in real life) (not around here – around here I just get SHOT!). Does this deserve talking about or should I go back to being Mz fruit.cake? Michelle
Response:
Different people react in different ways to their schizophrenia I guess. Some writers say that there are really MANY "schizophrenias". I personally don’t like MY schizophrenia at all. MINE just seems uniformly nasty, without any redeeming features that I can find, like a lung cancer might be uniformly nasty. I feel only disabled by it & not empowered by it in any way. I have met others who felt differently, though. Who feel that they have something special. I don’t know what to make of that other than that they have some different condition with the same name. If MY schizophrenia is the result of some superbeings, their experiment with me has gone terribly awry. I apologize for the negativity of my reply. Walt Whom the Gods destroy, they first make mad. I know it kinda sounds crazy but fairly often i don’t feel human. Outside i often have a feeling of being indestructable. My mind can actually feel very very powerful yet at the same time i will get paranoid about certain things. I do actually get a strong feeling of being an alien in a world where most of the people around me are so different or vice versa that I am so different in the way my mind works and my thinking to most other people. It’s interesting because i’ve never really felt this place was "home", and i’m kinda wondering where "home" really is. >Our minds are being heavily sedated and controlled through drugs ….. but >what if we were given a free reign? >Possibilities are endless.
Yes indeed, i think of this sort of thing each day. >I have not only noticed the weather bit but also how powerfully my mind >effects others (in real life) (not around here – around here I just get >SHOT!).
Yes contrary to what my doctor says, i have noticed the powerful effect on the mind, on other people and animals as well. I have a bond with my pet cat joey..i am able to see a "real" personality in him and we communicate in a kind of telepathy with each other. >Does this deserve talking about or should I go back to being Mz fruit.cake?
Personally, i feel this is the heart and soul of the matter. I could talk about this forever..but if we have to retreat to planet "Fruit Cake" leave a space for me, cause i’d like to come along.

Hi Wuffsie, This sort of thing I have wondered about for ages. Long before I was diagnosed I was chatting to this chap I had met and he asked me some questions about life – I can’t remember the exact questions now (senility and all that) but to one I remember answering that I thought there was a cloud of seeds drifting through time – over the years I developed the idea that these seeds were Royal seeds and were capable of introducing change into the world by being born into it. When I answered that chap’s question (funny chap he was, just drifted in and out of my life, sowing seeds in my mind it seemed) he said ‘Yep, that sounds about right’. Curious. Has anybody else had somebody like that just pop into their life and then out again (at a crucial moment)? It also occurs to me sometimes that the people who are really i/c the earth (now who would they be?) would want to put their own stamp on any changes that might be introduced, and if that were not possible, would not want to see their power base reduced in any way so would do everything in their power to prevent the potential of those Seeds from being fulfilled. That would explain a crazy crazy world (if those Seeds were not helped in any way and were projecting their unhelped ‘madness’ onto the world) and also why most of us going through our experiences feel special in some way. Would also explain why we feel inexplicably to blame for this that and the other. Would also explain the mystery of the psychiatric system. I’m taking it as read that all these things happen through the mind. Well, that’s my twopennyworth of wondering. I was only temporarily a Wuffle until Virgin sorted out the problem. This blame thing is a powerful thing. Almost like as though we are "expected" to do something and we feel it is "our fault" that we haven’t done it yet. I think there is some kind of "potential" in sz – there IS a link between genius and madness – the question is WHAT? Will we ever realize it??? Will the powerful and the corrupt try and BLOCK it? If we do have any kind of unrealized potential, then what is the TRIGGER that will set us all off??? A bit like "The Midwich Cuckoos" a bunch of "seeds" implanted by aliens in some of the women in a village who had these "strange" children, all of whom had "strange" powers. Are we "alien" or "Royal" seeds? >Well, that’s my twopennyworth of wondering. Over to you MzFruitcake, signed >Gooseberry Fool,

I liked Wuffles, my husband now knows to refer any emails coming from an animal-related name as coming from you. Must remember to remind him of a food connection too. > This blame thing is a powerful thing. Yes, I guess I’ve known that feeling very well. Haven’t we all? > I think there is some kind of "potential" in sz – there IS a link between > genius and madness – the question is WHAT? Do you also get that feeling that only YOU can sort this thing out (whatever is happening for you)? And that nobody else can sort it out but you? Guess that’s where most of us get our I am God delusions from. Except of course the real one, whoever that may be….any offers? If we were ‘aliens’ then that is what we would be, and presumably somewhere, would know it. Personally I feel that we all have great potential, and we are only understanding as much as we are able (or allowed) to understand at that time. Maybe the fact that we are wandering around in circles getting nowhere fast suggests that we need to hoick ourselves up a level somehow and see the view from there. Maybe if we started to chart our episodes against astrological or astronomical events we might see a pattern beginning to emerge. I don’t know an awful lot about that stuff. Somebody told me that 1986 was a year when all the planets aligned themselves into a straight line and that was the year that I started my first full-blown episode of sz. The moon affects the tides and we are mostly made of water, there’s got to be a connection somewhere. When I had my first episode there seemed to be a lot of connections with the stars. At one point I was seeing constellations and ‘recognising’ them as members of my family. Once I ’saw’ my whole body stretched out before me and it looked like zillions of stars. A bit like the Milky Way. Another time I looked at Orion, which I always like to look at and ‘heard’ myself refer to it as ‘Cush’ – I’ve forgotten now but I think that was the other name of Orion, which I hadn’t known at the time. Correct me somebody if I’ve got that wrong. I always like to look at the Seven Sisters (Pleiades), A couple of years ago I was on Holy Island near Aran staying with the Buddhists. It’s a no-smoking island and I’d been sleeping in this little loft (because the rooms were double-booked on the first evening). About midnight I thought I’d go outside and have a crafty cigarette – I stepped out of the building and it felt like something out of Close Encounters. There were absolutely zillions of stars out, bigger than I’d ever seen them before. It was utterly awesome. I felt as if all the stars had come out to greet me. I’d never known anything quite like that. Round here, you’re lucky if you can make out the Plough or Orion, sometimes the Seven Sisters, but this was truly magnificent. No wonder the ancients felt in awe of the sky and what was in it. I’ve also had the experience of feeling like the sky was inside my head and that made me feel very unbalanced (in a physical way) and dizzy. Remember reading that book ‘The Midwich Cuckoos’ years and years ago, can’t remember how it all ended now. I always preferred ‘The Day of the Triffids’. I haven’t read all the stuff from that website yet, I wonder what happened to those sz’s who were cured by Dr. Perry and now living ‘normal’ lives? Did that mean they adjusted to their spirituality? If we could find out how they have gone on etc it might throw a little bit of light onto forward progression for us. Love Judy

Well now what are you going to do? Ever asked your husband to look out for wobbly buckets??? I like this one, might stick to it. >> This blame thing is a powerful thing. I am. I are. we all am. we all are. Least that’s what I think. Is it more perhaps what was said once about attaining Godhead? >Maybe if we started to chart our episodes against astrological or >astronomical events we might see a pattern beginning to emerge. Yes – COULD be a connection, I don’t know much about this kind of thing. Weather I think is an interesting one but planetary line ups? Hmmmm. Someone else here said about a kind of link to Orion. There is a story of a child who knows the "true name" for all things and once this child has spoken the "true name" to each tree, to each rock, to each living thing then the true nature or spirit will be released and the true nature of the world and universe will be revealed, paradise regained. >A couple of years ago I was on Holy Island near Aran staying with the >Buddhists. It is almost beyond human concept isn’t it? >I’ve also had the experience of feeling like the sky was inside my head and >that made me feel very unbalanced (in a physical way) and dizzy.
I once was lying on top of a hill and "fell in" to the sky. That was actually pretty scary because it didn’t have an end. >I haven’t read all the stuff from that website yet, I wonder what happened >to those sz’s who were cured by Dr. Perry and now living ‘normal’ lives? Hiya Judy, Yes, i seem to hold a very strong fascination and connection with the Pleiades. I spend many a night outside with my binoculars pointing at the Seven Sisters and wondering about the cosmos. >I haven’t read all the stuff from that website yet, I wonder what happened >to those sz’s who were cured by Dr. Perry and now living ‘normal’ lives? I’d like to know the answer to that question too. Quoting from the introduction texts. "Few people are aware that the "schizophrenic break" – when not artificially blocked by medical intervention – is a temporary phenomenon." Just as the cyberduck was saying the other day..it’s an interesting thought if sz were to run it’s course without the medication, and the mind boggles as to what might happen. "The acute visionary phase naturally lasts for about forty days, after which the psyche gradually returns to a normal state of consciousness" Regards, Stephen (i’m reading the whole thing this afternoon, so i might write some more later)

This probably sounds weird but I sort of formed the idea that I was related to them in some way. I always feel happy, if I can look into the sky and see Orion and the Seven Sisters. Somehow that makes things seem right. Around here living in a town you just don’t get the same view. Like I said, when I was on that island I was totally gobsmacked to see those zillions of huge stars, like somebody had switched the light on. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -> >I haven’t read all the stuff from that website yet, I wonder what happened > >to those sz’s who were cured by Dr. Perry and now living ‘normal’ lives? My first episode of sz ran its course without medication and utter disaster happened. I think the point to understand about those people with sz not being medicated was that they were getting SUPPORT of some kind, albeit talking, being helped to understand or whatever in an appropriate setting. They were assisted through the process in a similar way to the way in which the Spiritual Emergency Network (Stanislav Grof) operates. > Regards, Stephen (i’m reading the whole thing this afternoon, so i > might write some more later)
Please do, it would be good to see what you think of it. I’ve every intention of setting aside some time to read it. Also a point to consider, how can we take advantage of that process now?
