Question:

Thank you — <//< Cynthia / Southern California "For it is God which worketh in you both to will  and to do of His good pleasure"   Philippians 2:13

– Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – I guess i didn’t read the book and did everything wrong.  my dad is dead from cancer… my life is shit You did nothing  wrong dear. ((((((Cynthia)))))) Jackie ~~Not knowing when the dawn will come, I open every door~~  -Emily Dickinson- I din’t know cancer was a question! It ceratinly is a complex illness. Now for your my life is shit comment- Life can be shitty at times-but it is not shitty all the time-nothing is 100% and by saying my life is shit you invalidate other possibilities and they truely exist as real as the shitty ones. Nothing is all black or all white good or bad but a synthesis of both. You are not responsible for the many things in your life that present themselves as unfortunate or tragic like death and illness-you miss your father and your love for him didn’t die with him. It is through this love of him that he lives on-within you. I lost one of my pets on monday nite a tragic and hurtful thing-but it doesn’t invalidate anything-I find it a depressive thing but I will not allow this tragedy to make my life tragic-it is a sad thing but doesn’t mean I must be sad all the time or make my life shit. Please realize that you have unconditional worth and value regardless of your shortcomings and in spite of any tragedy. LM
