Question:

Does anyone have any info on small bowel cancer.  My brother in law was diagnosed last August, tumor removed, and given 5fu for  six months.  Cancer has returned.  Problem is this type of cancer is rare, 5fu is not even for small bowel cancer.  It has spread to the abdominal wall, we are desperately seeking info.  Please help if you can…….My family is willing to travel anywhere…. Thank you.

Hi jack my name is keli and my mom had colon ca 2 years ago unfortunitly it had already spread to her liver she died 4 months later after having a hemicholectomy..her stage was a dukes d the worst stage. What I know now boy would things have been different,oh yea she also did the chemo 5fu and the leukovorian…it was worth the shot,I suggest you go to the utmost cancer comprehensive center and get some ideas there look in the computer for reasearch its worth a try. I have a book by the cofounder richard block of h&r block and he was dx with terminal lung cancer and well he proved them wrong!! good luck and a prayer too all of your family sincerely keli gatlin
