Question:

My name is Hans Janszen and I’m from Holland. Last Mai my wife had a surgery to get a lungtumour removed. During that operation they removed the lower lobe of her right lung. After that the doctor told us that the operation was succeeded and that she was cured. But a few months later (in October) they discovered a metastasis in the liver. After some tests the final outcome was that they found a tumour in the liver, cancer in the lymph glands and also a tumour outside her lungs. The doctors told us that she cannot be cured anymore. Now she gets chemotherapy. These are pills named TEMOZOLOMIDE. Could you please tell us about this kind of cancer and can you tell us some things about the results of TEMOZOLOMIDE? We do trust the doctors who are treating my wife. But we want to be sure that there is no place on this world where they can help my wife. If you need some more information please contact me. Thank you, Paul.

Hey Paul, There are so many drugs on the market!  That one’s not in my PDR Family Guide.  There are alternative therapies that are working for people that seem to be suppressed by the very organizations that are supposed to help.  To explore unconventional therapies, there are some very good websites– http://www.clinet.fi/narkia/uncnvcan.htm  and http://www.ralphmoss.com . A good book– Wellness Against All Odds, by Sherry A. Rogers M.D., Prestige Publishing, 1994,  out of print, but in my local public library. The doctor/author here recommends Coffee Enemas to detoxify. All those toxins and dead poisoned cells from the chemotherapy are circulating in the bloodstream. The Coffee Enemas, explained thoroughly in the book, jumpstart the detoxification process. Anyway, if you have no other hope, what are coffee enemas going to hurt?  They’ve been used for decades. Your wife is in terrible shape. Should you just sit around waiting for her to be poisoned to death? Anyway there are probably many good books. People who educate themselves are making it.  It takes commitment, love, faith, and patience. Doctor’s may be very well intentioned, but something seems to get in the way of them receiving and accepting information on non-toxic therapies. The question is this: Should you put your faith in people who are being lied to and don’t take the responsibility to discover the truth?  As the doctor above mentions, it is a sad state when the patients understand more than the doctors about healing the body. Good luck!   Lynne — Add an "s" to keating to reply– anti-spam measure. A new health discovery– but it takes education. http://www.galaxymall.com/retail/garlic

Just been diagnosed with Astrocytoma malinant brain tumor. Surgeon has said surgery is not advisable. Anyone have any good info as to another viable treatment for my tumor. My prognosis is apprx 15 months according to my surgeon. I would like to buy myself many more years of healthy living rather than just months. Any tips would be appreciated…

Radiotherapy has been proven to extend survival, though the prognosis is best for operable tumours

Time to talk to an intervential radiologist. Most Astrocytoma’s are radiation sensitive. Gamma Knife or contoured radiotherapy often provide substantial remission for astrocytoma’s. They are likely to kill you eventually, but that can be 10 years down the track.
