Actually, my personal approach is not to use products with sodium fluoride as I don’t know the dose or accumulation necessary for the health hazards. You can take your own personal quess on dose. However, things like putting it in my mouth for toothpaste and providing a direct path to my bloodstream, I personally find not smart. But that’s me based on what the manufacturer says. —– C. J. C.J., Your list reminds me of some research I did while in the manufacturing and construction trades. Checking the MSDSs of welding rods will reveal Fluoride is part of the rod flux. As it is melted it becomes part of the ambient atmosphere and is then inhaled. Harold

I went to that "trufax" web page. No real evidence. Nazi scientists were said to have thought fluoride would make people docile. (Aren’t these the same people who thought a black man could not out run a white man, yep, I trust them…) The Committiee on Un-American activities? Those people who found a commie behind every other commie? Yep, somebody else to put my faith in. Let’s start at the crux of the matter…give some evidence that the fluoride in drinking water can be used for mind control. Stick with the issue. Don’t give the name of a book. As for your silly-ass "quiz", they’re mostly "who cares?" kinds of assertions. There are some (about efficacy) that I’d like to know more about, but, as I said, there are no references in your list, so I can’t read about it for myself. Contact the Safe Water Foundation, David if you have any interest in finding out. They have the data, go and get it. All the citations you want. John Yiamiouyiannis who runs it, has it all, just give him a ring and ask him. He has appeared in numerous courts to convince them of the PROVEN dangers and PROVEN inefficacy of fluoridation. Jet Silver, It has already been proven. It is then up to the individual to decide what is best for him to do regarding the use of Fluoride. I suggest you analyze the proof you have in question and try to disprove it. If you feel it is important to your welfare, you must do your own homework. Then you will be convinced of its credibility. Do not leave up to others to do what you can do for yourself. Sometimes it is difficult to determine what is correct. Then you must use your God give faculties of thinking and intuition and choose the lesser of the evils as it concerns you. When you have people that claim to be MDs that become so emotional over issues and personalities that they resort to character assassination, you have a good idea of their professional mannerism and the credibility of the view they are supporting. The Safe Water Foundation is offering this reward to anyone who can show that anyone of these statements is untrue: 1) That according to the handbook, Clinical Toxicology or Commercial Products, fluoride is more poisonous than lead and just slightly less poisonous than arsenic. 2) That according to the Physicians Desk Reference: "In hypersensitive individuals, fluoride occasionally causes skin eruptions such as atopic dermatitis, eczema, or urticaria. Gastric distress, headache, and weakness have also been reported. These hypersensitive reaction usually disappear promptly after discontinuation of the fluoride". 3) that the Canadian Dental Association recommends: "Fluoride supplements should NOT be recommended for children less than 3 years old". 4) That from 1990 to 1992, the Journal of the American Medical Association published 3 separate articles linking increased hip fracture rates to fluoride in water. 5) That the march 22, 1990 issue of The New England Journal of Medicine, Mayo Clinic researchers reported that fluoride treatment of osteoporosis increased bone fracture rate and bone fragility. 6) That a study by Proctor and Gamble showed that as little as half the amount of fluoride used to fluoridate public water supplies resulted in a sizable and significant increase in genetic damage. 7) That in 1993, researchers from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences admitted: "In cultured human and rodent cells, the weight of the evidence leads to the conclusion that fluoride exposure results in increased chromosome aberations (genetic damage). That in 1988, the ability of fluoride to transform cells into cancer cells was confirmed by Argonne National Laborator. 9) that the research of Dr Dean Burk, former Chief Chemist of the National Institute, showed that 10,000 or more fluoridation linked cancer deaths occur yearly in the US. 10) That results from Battelle Research Institute showed that fluoride was linked to a rare form of liver cancer in mice, oral tumours and cancer in rats, and bone cancer in male rats. 11) That since 1990, the National cancer Institute, the New Jersey Dept of Health, and the Safe Water Foundation all found that the incidence of osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer, was substantially higher in young men exposed to fluoridated water as compared to those who are not. 12) That in the largest US study on fluoridation and tooth decay, the US Public health Service dental records of over 39,000 school children,ages 5-17, from 84 areas around the US showed that the number of decayed, missing, and filled permanent teeth (DMFT) per child was virtually the same in fluoridated and non fluoridated areas. 13) That Dr J. Colquhoun, former chief Dental Officer of the Dept of Health for Aukland, New Zealand, investigated tooth decay statistics from about 60,000 12 to 1 yr old children and showed that fluoridation had no effect on the decay rate of permanent teeth 14) That according to the Oct 1987 issue of the Journal of the Canadian Dental Association: "Survey results in British Columbia with only 11 percent of the population using fluoridated water show lower average DMFT (tooth decay) rates than provinces with 40-70% of the population drinking fluoridated water" and "school districts recently reporting the highest caries-free rates in the province were totally unfluoridated." That in 1993, the Subcommittee on Health Effects of Ingested Fluoride of the National research Council admitted that 8% to 51% and sometimes up to 80% of the children living in areas fluoridated with the amount of fluoride recommended by promoters of fluoridation have dental fluorosis (fluoride poisoning).
