adopting

Question:

To Anyone: My husband and I are interested in adopting a child. We have been trying to have a child for ten years to only be told in the end that it will never be. We have lots of love to give a child. Roger is 43 and I am 29. Roger has a good factory job as a foreman. I would be a stay at home mom. We have 2 dogs. They are English Bulldogs and excellent with kids. We do not care about race/age of the child, nor any physical or mental impairments that they may have.

Response:

Well, if you are serious about not having any preferences such as age or race, and you truly just want to provide a home, family and love  for a child who needs it, I woudl like to speak further with you. My best friend was just diagnose with terminal liver cancer. Her doctor gives her approx. 15 months to live. She has an  8 year old and an 11 year old, both boys. She has no family to take them when she passes, and wants more than anything to find a family to adopt the two of them and keep them together. As most adoptive parents, want little plump infants to adopt, it is proving to be a difficult task to find the right situation…I think that it IS possible though. These boys deserve a loving home, and I would like more than anything for her to be able to die, knowing that her children are being loved and taken care of. Anyone else out there have any ideas?????? Michelle Hilbe Bastard Nation
