My mother-in-law’s cat, Polly had to be put down today. She was only 18 months old. She had feline leukemia. She had been sick for a while and had not eaten in a couple of weeks or drank for several days. I was the one to take her to the vet and I petted her while she died. She will be missed. I’m so sorry to hear of your mom in laws cat. It is sad when they go to the bridge, but a bit sadder when they do so at such a young age. That is sad. Taking them to the vet for that is a hard thing to do, too. At least you know she was with someone who loved her at the end. My condolences to both you and your mother-in-law. Joy
