When I was growing up almost all the cats in our neighborhood were named either Boots or Cleo.

Boots came with that name. I didn’t name him though I was thinking of calling him socks after the president’s cat. I didn’t realize we were including kitties that have passed. BTW all my kitties have been fixed Lucky, black, male Shamu (like the whale) white and black, male Punkin’, black and white, male Ricky, black and white, male Rocky, black and white, male Kitty, russian blue, female – she came with that name and seemed to like it. Hmm, I see a pattern here, black and white
