Watery discharge
Question:
Been having a watery discharge that sometimes looks clear, sometimes looks like the palest pink, sometimes it also contains mucus. Often a panty liner is virtually filled with the liquid. So far it hasn’t filled a slender pad. Yes, periods are irregular and what comes out does not look consistent all through the part of the bleeding that seems to be the "real" period. (Hard to tell the real period from the spotting anymore.) Anyone else have a similar watery, almost clear discharge? I’ve had this for prob. about a year now and I’m now 51. Sherry

Sherry, how long has it been since you had a "real" period? Have you discussed it with your doctor? Odds are that it’s nothing to be concerned about, but your post caught my eye because I experienced a pale pink discharge – hard to even call spotting – shortly after I had stopped having periods. It turned out that I had endometrial cancer. I don’t want to be an alarmist, but if you haven’t discussed it with your doctor, I recommend that you do so. Welcome to asm! I do hope that it’s nothing! Hi, Sherry. This could be a normal thing – posters in the past have mentioned such a fluid coming at the end of the period. Have it checked out, of course, but in the meantime, don’t fret too much over it.
