Good news! A pap would show cancer. Now you should get back on track of having periods, at least 4 times per year. I also ran a long time (a couple of years) without periods, but every pap was ok. You know that something isn’t right, if you start to spot and it doesn’t stop. Not every woman without a period gets cancer, the risk is higher and you have an incresed possibility. The lining does not grow in the same rate in every woman. Mine didn’t grow in 4 years without a cycle. My doctor told me that mine was like I just had a period 2 weeks ago. — Katharina dav…@german-usa.com 35/5.9/C0-nt/met2550 262(March 15,99)/218

If I have a normal Pap does that mean I don’t have endometrial cancer? I just read the Woman’s Day article and it got me scared. I had very few periods in the last 10+ years. If our Pap is normal should we still have our uterine lining checked to see if it is thicker than normal just to be safe? This is so scary. Please give any info. Thanks, Susan

I was scared too by it Susan, only because I found my situation identical to Kerri and her situation. There was a posting on here that I started and alot of ladies responded maybe it could help you with your questions. My Gyno called and wanted to make an appointment with me for me to get a biopsy in March, so we will see what happens. She read the article also and she really thought it was helpful (as I did also). Look up my posting WD scared me. God Bless, TracyP – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -CAT EIS wrote: > If I have a normal Pap does that mean I don’t have endometrial cancer?
