hi guys i posted a few days ago about the pain in the left arm.  it seems to be going away although i did go to the surgeon and he felt it and said i was fine..maybe too much strain at work.  i work at the IRS here on long island and part of my job is working on the computer all day and at times lifting heavy boxes.  i know i am not supposed to lift anything heavy…hell i dont even help hubby bring in the heavy bags of groceries!!!.  so maybe the heavy lifting did it. thanks lisa and annie for your answers:-) ok heres another little problem <frown. guess what i got the other morning after not having it for 2 years???? MY DARN . got it??? for you men sorry but i will say anyway…i got my friend again <pooh after 2 years of not having it. the question is…..WHY WHY WHY after all this time. and not to be too gross but my body seems to making up for lost time AGGGHHHHHHHH.  I  thought the tamoxifen was supposed to stop this from happening. any thoughts????? hugs and love linda bliss p.s. HAPPY PESACH TO ALL WHO ARE JEWISH OUT THERE!!! i make a mean matzoh ball soup for anyone who wants to come taste.

Response:

You might want to check it out with your oncologist, especially since you seem to think it’s heavy –after 2 years?…Hmmm…Might also depend on what meds you’re on (if any). If on Tamoxifen, should be reported. Either way, when it doubt, check it out. Good luck and God bless, Adrienne

Response:

Hi Linda, No joy this! You might be stressed out , though have it checked out especially being on Tamoxifen. It can cause endometrial cancer but DO NOT WORRY, because that can easily be rectified. You may need a hysteroscopy to check that. I had that done when I noticed some bleeding. They whipped me in quickly, gave me a full anaesthetic and it turned out my endometrial wall was nice and thin as it should be, but I had some fibroids which had caused some bleeding. You could also have a polyp. They bleed very easily. Just check it out, especially as it has ben heavy. Love and hugs, Rob

Response:

rob thanks i never thought of that.  when this "friend"decides to leave i will call the gyn to have my annual pap which i am due for anyway your ng friend linda

Response:

Hi Linda, I also had some bleeding when I wasn’t supposed to.  My gyn. did a hysteroscopy and things looked fine, so he was at a bit of a loss until some lab work came back and indicated that my thyroid was REALLY out of kilter. Synthetic thyroid medication did the trick!  Now, I’m not suggesting that yours is a thyroid problem–just that so many things can cause the bleeding. I felt better when I had asked a Dr. to check it out.  Good luck to you. Hope the arm is continuing to improve too. Barb
