Response:

The ureterosigmoidostomy was a procedure done in the 1950’s where they took the ureters directly from the kidneys and routed them to the end of the colon, The patient would then void everything thru the anus. This was widely used for babies born with a condition called Bladder extrophy ( that is the bladder being exposed at birth) Unfortunately this procedure has proved to cause colon cancer in a percentage of the patients. Me included. I was lucky though and my cancer was caught in time. I now have have  a Koch pouch to take care of the urine. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -johnny wrote: > Hope not as I could never spell it much less wear it what is it????? > b4dawn2 wrote in message … > >Roy,  I don’t even want to think about it !!!  OUCH             DAWN > >******************************* > >Roy <r…@exaarNOSPAM.abel.co.uk> wrote in message > >news:750ovq$1rk$1@nnrp0.seg0… > >>Hi.
