I’ve had maybe three or four colonics in my life. They seem to be beneficial,
But they can’t do any thing. There is no such thing as toxic bulid up for them to flush out. You might feel better after one, but that is subjective. The only benefit they have is a sexual one, if you are into that. Enemas and colonics have been used for thousands of years…(

They seem to be beneficial, although a longer and more frequent trial would be necessary for me to say for sure (in my limited opinion — limited due to the lack of adequate experience.) As for being a sexual turn on, who can tell where Jet would arrive at such a funny conclusion. For me they were slightly unpleasant experiences, except in one case where it was intensely unpleasant. The idea of sex during or after the colonics was the furthest thing from my mind. There were gas pains and other uncomfortable experiences. Jet’s proclivities not withstanding, those are not sensations I associate with when desiring or having sex. One thing you will find ,,, there is only two schools of thought on colonics: 1) Love ‘em–those who have tried and found to be quite pleasant and beneficial.. 2) Hate ‘em– never even tried one,, or , had one bad experience. Enemas and colonics have been used for thousands of years…( yoga.. egyptians.. and many others).. The "medical community" talks bad about their use,, drugs and surgery is major $$$$$$$ ,, enemas can be done at home and with care the equipment will last for years,, can’t make any money that way. Some people may have a "toxic reaction" after their first enema,, The toxins in the bowel are dissolved by the water and if not completely expelled ,, can cause cramps and nausea .. You can get enema kits and do it yourself. I did a 7 day coffee enema/juice fast and felt 1000% better. It’s the way to take your coffee, but don’t get addicted!
An enema IS NOT the same as colonics.Colonics will wash or clense the entire large intestine (about 3 feet long) whereas and enema will reach a little past the rectum ( 4-6 inches). Colonics uses a machine to inject water/water-coffee mixture thru the entire instestine. Kerry

Look, the fact is, the colon does a fine job of keeping itself clean and colonics are useless. (Unless you get a sexual thrill from them, then they have that use.) If you have any evidence of toxic build up in a living colon, post it here.

For your information, depending on the amount of buildup in the large intestine will also determine the amount of H20 that is "absorbed"
Since there is no such thing as build up in the colon, how much H2O is absrobed? Also, when doing enemas, there is about %30 percent leakage.

Sorry pal, your wrong…according to my state license and state board of examinations test. For your information, depending on the amount of buildup in the large intestine will also determine the amount of H20 that is "absorbed" into the system during treatments! I believed an advertisement of some colonic clinics and did 3 irrigations in November. Since that I suffer from unpleasant feelings in my stomach which oftenly awake me at night and from episodes of very bad nausea which last for a day or two. The problems from which I suffered had not been cured. For me, colonics was a horrible experience and I regret about this. Dan

I have come to the conclusion that after reading most of your postings, that nothing, either stated,written or documented will satisfy your need and desire of being the antagonist. I think that you should keep some, if not all of your thoughts to yourself.But then again this country is great because of the first amendment. It stikes me odd that most of your ill feelings to the general theme of this cateagory is based on past experience and facts. Neither of which probably apply to you. I was just wondering though… what do you do for a living or what is your experience in the field of Holistic approach to health? Before you ask.. I have been involved for almost twenty years now. If you knew what the Inferior vena cava, Aorta and Splenic vein were you would not make the statement that you did with reference to Colonics! I suppose that without looking up in a book, if you even know what a medical book is, the importance if the Mesentary tissue around the large intestine.
