Noooooooooo! *Please* don’t post binaries to this NG. It’s hugely unfair on those who have to pay to download posts and is in breach of just about all Usenet conventions for discussion groups :( — Gary Cooper

OK I agree it seems like something from a typical sci-fi movie but people in Japan are getting into oxygen therapy. (bottles & masks et al) I think the whole idea is entirely to distasteful for words but I have a big mouth. It’s like the ozone layer. One day it’s there, next it’s a major political toy. I think someone is pulling my leg but it’s not going to work. Whatever you may think of scientists; science is just a bunch of facts and theories with a big crack down the middle. The Nobel Prize winner in this case is Dr. Otto Warburg, a German biochemist who won the prize for research on the cause of cancer. He concluded that cancer cells can only grow when they become oxygen deficient and they can’t grow at all in an oxygen-rich environment. Other scientists are backing him up. As for the amount of oxygen in the air; bigger cities have a content of 12% to 15% oxygen. 19% to 21% seems to be the overall average. The problem is that anything under 7% is not enough to support human life for even a short time. Air bubbles found trapped in fossils showed an oxygen content of 38%. Maybe starve is too strong a word. Deflation? More: Dr. Harry Goldblatt, Journal of Experimental Medicine Dr. Wendell Hendricks, Hendricks Foundation "Simply put, disease is due to a deficiency in the oxidation process of the body, leading to an accumulation of toxins. These toxins would ordinarily be burned in normal metabolic functioning." -Dr. Albert Wahl.- Dr. Stephen Levine,  Author, Oxygen Deficiency: A Concomitant to All Degenerative Diseases Here are the symptoms. overall body weakness muscle aches dizziness irritability fatigue memory loss irrational behavior chronic hostility circulation problems poor digestion acid stomach lowered immunity to colds, flu and infection bronchial problems tumors and deposit buildups bacterial, viral and parasitic infections This is all new to me so excuse me if I don’t sound very convincing. "When you believe in things you don’t understand. Then you suffer." Stevie Wonder-Superstition Aint The Way What’s ROFL? Do you think I’m paranoid? – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – It seems that the oxygen levels on earth have declined to a very low level, dangerously close to the minimum needed to support human life, due to smog etc. I think this could be the cause of panic in just about any individual.  A Nobel winning scientist has announced that people are actually suffering from oxygen starvation. This results in various complications, among them, panic signals generated by cells that are being starved of oxygen which manifest as "vague feelings of dread or disaster. *ROFL* Ok, sorry. Won’t laugh at you, but could you give me the name of that Nobel Price winner? I’d like to have a chat with him…:) Oxygen starvation? Yeah right, so now we don’t suffer from PD/PA anymore, but lack of oxygen, cool…:) Think I’ll run out and by me a bottle of oxygen then, just to be on the safe side. Seriously, this might be a problem in very small parts of the world, like a very large and dense industrialized city, but then not even there would the oxygen level be so low as to making our cells starve. The "normal" air we breath doesn’t exactly hold very much oxygen, so I just don’t believe this, but I would certainly wanna know who said it, when he got his price and an address if possible. Might give the guys down at the nobel commity a call and see if it was this he won it for…:) *giggle* Love Dave Ps. Don’t take this not personally, I laugh at the scientist! Ds.

So if we were all hooked to oxygen tanks instead of being put on meds we’d all ~~~~ Dody "Of all the things i’ve lost I miss my mind the most"
