Question:
The information was yranscried exacly a writen in the EDGE, a local gay/lesbian magazine. Mr Blackwell’s publicist wrote it. I assume he/she knows the relaionship. Don’t go throwing people to the sharks unless you are quite certain of their position.
Response:
Would it be too much to state that Blackwell’s partner was a gay man? Or would that be too distasteful to Catholics? Does the fact that the research building was made with Blackwell’s "filthy fag money" cancel its merit?

The dedication was based on a $1.5 million donation by Blackwell and his life partner of 50 years. Blackwell and Spencer have been supporting the established Catholic hospital since he survived cancer there 30 years ago.
