Check out Cedars-Sinai Comprehensive Cancer Center at http://www.csccc.com My brother was treated there for a rare form of cancer.

UCLA is one obvious one, but there are others. Your best bet might be to look in PDQ at the physician finder section. Since your cancer is a rare one, you should look first by specialty for the kind of doctor you need, then limit the search to Los Angeles (it goes down as far as by zipcode). If you don’t find any in the city, then you can look at California in general or some other nearby cities. That way you will be sure of getting a doctor who knows something useful about your condition, even if he/she is not at a major cancer center. PDQ is at http://cancernet.nci.nih.gov/pdq.htm If you have trouble using it, you can call 1-800-4-CANCER, the NCI hotline, and they will help you look.    If you need free transportation out there, the Corporate Angel Network will fly cancer patients and one companion anywhere in the USA for diagnosis or treatment for free on corporate jets that are going that way anyway (the companies love the charitable tax write-off and the patients love the service!). Sharon, Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Southern California Hospital has an excellent reputation.  This is a brief blurb from their site.
