does anyone knopw about lukimia
Question:
I have a friend that has lukimia. He went though kimo and then a bone marrow transplant. He just had a relaps. What is the next step. If there is one
Hello Joe, I don’t know much about leukemia. Here’s some web sites http://www.leukemia-lymphoma.org/ The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. The Society’s mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. http://www.llcare.org/ Leukemia and Lymphoma Care http://www.geocities.com/leukemia61/ Fighting Leukemia and Lymphoma (Personal site) http://pathologyoutlines.com/leukemia.html Detailed pathology information for Leukemia / Myelodysplasia. When was his bone marrow transplant? Recent or years ago? What’s the next step might have to be discussed with his treatment team. Can you go with him? I couldn’t find on-line support lists at ACOR. Perhaps one of the above links has same, but I expect you’d need more detailled info, and they might answer the same as I have above. Best wishes for you and your friend, J
