The Green Light and the REAL Peter Bowditch!!

Categories: Cancer Patients

Question:

I made some mistakes.

Think nothing of the actual ones you made, it is only human. We all do it. *Dr Polevoy is reviled almost as much as Dr Barrett* The above words quoted by Jan do not appear anywhere on the Green Light site. I apologise, those words do appear on the Green Light site. I was a bit hasty with the Control-V. Surely Jan doesn’t disagree with these words.

Apology accepted. Thank you. **Lies and deceit in alternative medicine ** Again, the words do appear on the Green Light – as the title of another web site owned by someone else. If Jan does not like those words, she should take it up with the site owner.

Wrong Peter, wrong. Medical Fraud appears on your website, which clicks on and leads to, lies and deceit in alternative medicine. I found it on YOUR website. I am taking it up with YOU. You are performing mumbo jumbo word games. See how easy it is to admit error, Jan? No, I didn’t think so.

You thought wrong, and you should already know that as Michele and several others have falsely claimed same. I hardly think you missed the many times I have admitted my mistakes and errors and said I was mistaken. See below. Jan Latest in addition to last post to Michele. View: Complete Thread (7 articles)   Original Format Newsgroups: misc.health.alternative It’s called "sarcasm," Jan.

Ok, I apologize. There is so much of it, plus trolls called over  to help the flame wars, it is hard to tell anymore. Very sorry. Jan Re: Andrew? was Re: Migraines & Magnets Newsgroups: misc.health.alternative   Yes I admitI am too quick to react. I respect John’s for ability to remain agentleman andsay what needs to be said. This NG has become a trashing contest, rather than an alternative NG. I hope this will change Thanks for your sincere reply. Jan Yes I said that and it was wrong     I stand corrected. Rich did not ask me to post them. 1999/06/15     Yes, you are quite correct. I stand corrected. I do believe this is in a different context than Happy Dog was referring to.     I do wish to apologize, I should have stated that it was the first post that I have read from you. Not your very first post. My mistake. Sorry, I caused you all that trouble. I suspect you have already figured this out, before you read this. And I do apologize for saying that. That wasn’t fair.: Yes, you are correct and I apologize for losing my temper. From Happy Dog Jan, please tell us where this quote is from.  Revelations?  Is it in your bible?  You are supporting it so I assume you’re sure that it comes from the bible.  So tell us where.  I can’t find it.  But since you’re the devout Christian, you must be able to. erf First of all I have never said I was a devout Christian.   OK.  You aren’t a devout Christian.  Thanks for clearing that up’ You’re welcome, however you snipped, I try, but God ain’t done with me yet.

Newsgroups: misc.health.alternative     In thinking that over, you are *totally* correct. I apologize. From karuna: I am sorry for my flippant reply to Rich’s post – that was thoughtless. Thank you karuna, aren’t we all guilty of that??  YES YES YES.

Newsgroups: misc.health.alternative I don’t know what happend TDN. All I know is that I do indeed know how to do asearch. I searched for it over and over using every possible word. It simplywas not there. If you didn,’t nuke it then I apologize. I don’t usually accusepeople of something until I have checked and doubled checked. Newsgroups: misc.health.alternative     From Andrew: I owe you an apology. I had asked if you were AF’s bubba. I don’t remember

whatyou had said, perhaps I read it wrong? At any rate, I apologize for all the things I said. From Jan: Well, thank you. And I apologize as well. I guess I get a bit riled. I seem to

be a good punching bag, but then I have been told it is soo much fun to pick on me. I can’t imagine why? Your are welcome. I hardly know what to say. (smile-it doesn’t happen often) Iaccept and appreciate your apology. I also apologize and ask your forgiveness. This has really hit me hard.

Response:

In reading the Green Light, another sick webasite written by Peter B. , I found some half truths, meaning the real truth was left out. For reference, here is the philosophy behind the "sick" Green Light web site:

It is posted below your name EVERYTIME you post. That’s reference. This site was launched in January 2003 as a companion to The Millenium Project site. People kept asking me to give some pointers to sites which I could recommend as an antidote to the hate, the lies and the nonsense in the sites listed at The Millenium Project. The Green Light is a

collection of sites which I believe give reliable information and which can be used as references or to find counter-arguments. I don’t necessarily agree with everything in these sites (just as I don’t necessarily disagree with the content of all sites listed in The Millenium Project), but I believe they offer a better picture of reality than the collected badness at the other place. The name of the site comes from the almost universal use of a green light to indicate that it is safe to go somewhere or to resume normal activity. The Green Light site starts at http://www.ratbags.com/greenlight *The second case is one one sense trivial compared to closing down a web site because of its content, but in a way much more threatening because there is no sort of law that can prevent it

from happening. Someone I know through the – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -Internet was told by her ISP that she was in danger of having her account suspended because of her activities in Usenet newsgroups. The reason I say that this is more threatening is that it is impossible to make a law that forces a private organisation to take or keep anybody as a customer. As far as anyone can ascertain, her offence was to accuse someone who posts under a female persona of really being a man, and also to call this other person "Dilbert". I realise that not everyone will find the comic strip by Scott Adams as funny as I do, but this doesn’t strike me as a major insult. It seems that the ISP reacted to a single complaint. The most likely reason for this is that for a large ISP with many thousands of customers each paying only a small amount each month it is cheaper to discard a customer than to spend time investigating complaints, but it would make me nervous if I were a customer.* The above words quoted by Jan do not appear anywhere on the Green Light site.

Ok, but they do appear on one of your websites. Is that correct?? Now for the whole truth. Oh, Jan must be about to point out that she is quoting from another web site

Right here on MHA. **"She" is not female.  That’s all I know. ** I won’t allow that

misconception tocontinue unchallenged:   – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -**It is causing too much harm.** No, it looks like I was wrong about Jan correcting her "mistake". I also left out discussion of the possibility of collusive price manipulation in the Chicago hog belly futures market.

OOOps, typical debunker diversion and http://www.geocities.com/cbpdoc/skeptictricks.html WHAT you left out changes the meaning and in fact makes what you wrote a *half* truth. *The proponents of quackery and medical fraud love to tell us about how many people are killed by doctors each year.* The above words quoted by Jan do not appear anywhere on the Green Light site.

My mistake, it was somewhere on your many websites. (No, I don’t think so, nobody *loves* it at all. They would rather it wasn’t hapening. See above. (*Sounds like Tim Bolen*) I assume this is a complement, as Jan is so fond of posting, and reposting, and reposting, and … the words of Tim Bolen.

Sure you do. Not that this has anything to do with The Green Light, but nobody can know how many people that the fraud has hurt because she does no follow up (unless the victim’s cheque bounces of course) and keeps no records.

So why do you make a statement when you do not know??? (IMHO, he is guily of EXACTLY what he accuses others of, as in:) (He loves tro squawk about Hulda Clark). I would love to reach the situation where I never had to mention liars and quacks like Hulda Clark.
