Thanks Steve and all the others out here, unfortunately I’ll still be lurking and learning tomorrow. I think I left off on my ‘tale of woe’ after seeing the bone spec.  He sent me for an MRI.  Radiologists said he believed it was cancer.  Only one thing left to do was the bone biopsy.  We just returned from my Uro’s office and the results of the bone biopsy shows cancer.  Sooooooo it’s off to a medical oncologists next Monday. Will be discussing standard HT treatment and possibly clinical trials. I am also scheduled for a "multi-disciplinary clinic" on 4/6 at UNC Medical Hospital.   It’s a 3 hour meeting with one hour spent with each doctor of urology, radiology and medical oncologists.  They will have all my medical records up to this point.  They meet together to suggest the best treatment plan for my particular case.  Seems like a good idea to have everyone in the same room. Anyway, I’ll try to keep posting as

son of a bitch!!! To say the least, I am stunned! It also means I have to turn in my medical opinion degree. Sorry to hear that but, at least it’s good that they found the mets before operating.  It would have been much worse to find them afterwards. Good luck with the HT or whatever they offer you, and do keep tabs on clinical trials.  There are a lot of them underway including some with quite new and promising treatments. Best of luck to you.     Alan
