Question:

I was born on 4/26/68 at Saint Andre’s Hospital in Biddeford, Maine to Gloria Moore of Lisbon Falls, Maine.  She graduated from Lisbon High School in 1966, went to Franklin Junior College in Massachusettes for 1 year following graduation, and then became pregnant with me.  I cannot ask her who my birthfather is, because she died in 1983 of cancer, and her father will not acknowledge me (he is the only living close family relative).  Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!

Try your hardest to find some old highschool yearbooks.. look at the comments section (if there is one) for her grad year.. maybe there are initials of friends?  Most everyone keeps in contact with one or two people from highschool..it’s a longshot, but that yearbook might come in handy.  It didn’t for us, but you never know. -Nicole.

Bill, My birth name was Maria Moore. I don’t really know more than that, other than the info I posted earlier…Gloria’s father’s name is Ken Moore and he used to work at Bates College–lives in Lewiston.  I have a younger half-sister that Gloria didn’t give up for adoption; she hasn’t really corresponded with me too much.  Gloria never married and my half sister, who lives in Massachusettes with second cousins, doesn’t know who her father is either…it’s obvious we don’t have the same father.  That’s it..all I know at this point.
