OT: Please pray for my sister in law

Categories: Cancer Hospital

Question:

My sister in law, Teresa, who has cancer, is in the hospital now doing very badly.  I’m not going into details lest it aggravate someone’s anxiety, but it’s bad.  The doctor gave her the option of a very strong chemo (that may kill her) or hospice and she chose the chemo.  The family is rallying and I’m sitting at home like a big baby because I’m, of course, panicked and afraid to drive the hour to the hospital (all the way across town–my town is very spread out), plus I’m afraid to see her so sick even though I saw her Weds.  I will go, it will just take some doing. Please pray for her and my husband and his family and keep them in your thoughts. Thank you, Dawn

Dawn, You and your sis-in-law have my biggest prayers!!  Let me tell you something.  My mom had cancer and she had to do the wicked chemo.  After that horrible time, the cancer came back.  She then went on a chemo-type pill.  When the cancer came back, it was in her lungs.  I am happy to say that she is STILL alive and fighting it every day. There *is* lots of hope!!! —
