Of course, we’ll know the likelihood of his cancer having spread when we receive the results of the margin tests in the next day or two.  He is still a little groggy. The hospital where he is staying allows patients to have an overnight guest if they are in a private room and John is in a private room so I’ll be staying there tonight.  He’s going to start walking tomorrow and the better he’s doing the sooner he gets to come home (maybe Friday). Hi Debbie, I only stayed two night, I had to walk at least 5 times and pass gas.  The 2nd night I walk about 15 to 20 times and pass gas the next morning and went home by noon. Hi Debbie:  Good to hear surgery is over.  Walking is tough the first few times.  I made it to the nursing station and back on day 2 postsurgery.  The tough part was getting out of bed but walking wasn’t too bad.  Keep us informed. Best regards, Chuck H.
