Could it be something else?
Question:
Because of constipation, sometimes I notice a little blood on the toilet paper. I am booked into the hospital to have a colonoscopy in afew months time. (Typical public hospital). Also sometimes there is a small streiking of blood in some stools, could it be something else, like straining of the or tearing? I realise their are some people out there, that would find this some what funny and will probably be subject now to nasty replies of some sort. But take note, to those that cannot help themselves and feel the need to reply with some sort of critisism, DON"T BOTHER Only honest answers will be reguarded . Thank-you.

Most bleeding is NOT due to cancer. But should be investigated. Your doc should do a rectal examination – there shouldn’t be a waiting list for that!
