Sorry….I meant to mention this earlier. Dr. Sanjay Gupta is doing a Special at 8 pm Eastern Time on cancer, including new medical discoveries, survivor stories, etc.  It will be repeated here at 11 pm…..I assume that is the same in the US.   I have no idea what all will be covered, but intend to watch it. I must say that while it was somewhat interesting, it didn’t cover Pca at all.  It was 5 different stories and all happened at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Texas. I did react strongly to one story though…..of a small child with Ewing’s Sarcoma.  She got into a clinical trial with a drug called Immeron (or close to that) which cured her.  But the pharmaceutical company has decided not to continue producing it because it is not making enough money on it.  That royally ticked me off!! What is the answer to that sort of thing??  Just because it is not a big moneymaker, is that a good enough reason to stop producing it if it works?? The money has already been spent on R & D.  Makes me wonder just how often that sort of thing happens. Heather
