My opinion: Ring tones are for kids.  They are annoying as all hell.  Mine is set to vibrate only.  …and no, I do NOT pick up the call in a grocery store, restaurant, cinema…  And I try not to use it in the car.  I’m more coordinated than most, but half of the time you see a driver cross the lane marker, they’re on the freakin’ phone. HEY!  You in the SUV wandering into my lane…  It’s a car, not a phone booth!

My PH# is too private to worry about that, if I get a call, there is a reason.  But I pull over, if no other reason I need to focus on the call..or the driving..not both.   In a store, I just shut off..might try vib for s/grins.   HEY!  You in the SUV wandering into my lane…  It’s a car, not a phone booth!

Just talking, or ESPN’ng/web surfing on a 3" screen, TOO much toy/too little phone. I don’t text msg, net on phone, or media anything, although my 2 V3I’s can do it all.  NO mp3’s / songs on the phone (can hold 100+) and who cares Never liked vib from da phone, save as added to the ring.  I just hate hearing some one elses stock factory ring thinking it’s mine.  OK, Vib can change that, but the V3I has a week motion. I also know that few, if anyone around me have FZ MIDI as a ring tone.  The V3I can run 20 secs+ of MIDI each ring thump.  By the time Howard is asking "..what are we singing about.."  I’ve hung up. I’m not much for the phone to begin with and, fortunately, neither is my girlfriend; we both prefer to talk face to face. My phone is set to use least annoying ring that came with it.
