Medulloblastoma Kava Kava & adderall

Categories: Brain Cancer

Question:

Why in the ****world**** would you release that level of detail to a bunch of strangers? I know we are all here to help each other and there is some level of trust, but it may be imprudent to attach something like that in the future. Maybe you could do it upon email request. If your insurance company or hospital did that, they would be in civil and criminal court.  Please be careful with personal information on the net. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – My son had Medulloblastoma brain cancer when he was two years old he had chem and radiation to the brain and spine at three.  A lot of damage to the frontal lobe and the tumor was in the cerebella area.  He is 14 now (next month) and puberty and frontal lobe damage don’t mix well.  We just moved from ritalin to adderall and we are having good results. Does anyone know if it would hurt to let him also take Vitamin B-6 (Each year when we do the MRI they are seeing more white area or scar forming in the brain) or and Kava Kava? I have attached his medical history with all the meds he is taking.  Any help or suggestion is welcome. Please email me. James

Response:

I understand your sincere concern.  But there is nothing in my sons history that anyone can use against him or us.  What harm can all the "stangers" cause by having this information? What can any "stangers" do with the this level of details.  I gave myself permission to release this information, It would be different if insurance company or hospital did it. Thanks for you concern. but I’m concerned more with getting help with the initial question?
