cause of brain cancer
Question:
How does the medicine/science find out whether aspartame and/or cell phone usage (or neither) may be causing the increase in brain cancer?????
Typically, the research depends on giving little creatures (namely rats) massive doses of the drug or substance tested, and observing what develops. The dose is calculated by mg per kg, and comparitives are drawn. It’s all very unpleasant (especially if you are the rat in the lab) and not necessarily accurate (see what happens when you give a single shot of malt whiskey to your dog – if the dog is a sufficient size, the mg per kg dose will be lower than say, if you drank two or three – the dog is likley to collapse.) Rat studies are only indicative. If aspartame has an unambiguous effect on rats, then you try looking for it in humans, say. However, you need epidemological studies for humans, generally.
