Im just starting on the atkins diet, and I like to drink herbal tea with a couple drops of liquid sacchrin (sweet and low brand).  Both the tea and sweet and low say they are carb and sugar free.  Is this safe to use while in induction? Thanks, John

It’s fine if you don’t mind the taste of saccharin.  Superose brand is cheaper than liquid Sweet’n low when you run out. The cancer scare years ago was bladder cancer in lab mice, but lab mice are very prone to bladder cancer in the first place, and as I understand it, it entailed some component in mouse urine that humans don’t have. —                 "There’s a seeker born every minute."
